Embark on a two-day book safe making adventure and learn all the tricks for converting weathered tomes into the perfect place to stash your treasures! Use a scroll saw, nails, and glue to construct your safe and then create molded paper-clay embellishments. Return the next day when everything has dried to decorate your project with a fantastic selection of craft supplies.

Timing: 2 days, 5 hours total
Location: 214, art and some shop use
Prerequisites: none
Certification: None
Age: 14+ (minors need to bring an adult, but the adult doesn’t need to do the project)

What to bring:
A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes.
What to wear:
Closed-toed shoes, short sleeves, and clothes that can get a little messy. Long hair must be tied back.
Safety Gear:
Eye protection, and ear protection, and all the hand sanitizer will be provided.

This class requires a minimum of 3 students per session. If the class is canceled, we can offer a refund but otherwise, do not.
