UNITE Saturday School is a collaborative initiative between UNITE, Oakstop, Ace Makerspace, and local STEAM organizations like Njoya Engineering, Healing Da Maafa, and I.S.A. Our program aims to provide holistic education and mentorship opportunities for youth aged 7-17 in the Bay Area.
Ages: Open to all ages, Focus on ages 7-17.
Pedagogy: We follow the V.I.B.E approach- Versatile Immersive Based Education.
Partnerships: Partnering with Oakstop and Ace Makerspace for state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Mentorship: Expert mentorship from leading STEAM organizations.
Focus Areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM).
Values: Our core values include self-sustainability, unity, and accountability.
Community Involvement: We believe in bringing together families and communities through education
Refunds, Transfers, or Credits are only offered if the class is canceled. We do not offer credits, transfers, or refunds for student cancelations. You can offer your seat for sale to others (use the comments). You are solely responsible for those transactions & letting us know who is taking your spot.
Arriving on time to class is very important.
For certification classes we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the start time you will be unable to attend that day and your class fee is forfeit. For non-certification classes, your ability to participate will be based on instructor discretion.
