Turn tears and stains into art and revive your clothing and fabric goods. Our instructor will guide you through techniques specific to your mending project. You will create your own “visible mending kit” and begin turning those old rips and stains into a fashion statement.
Bring your stained or ripped clothes or fabric bags for this workshop. All materials and tools are provided. Please make sure your item is clean.

The techniques we will explore include sashiko mending, loom mending, and decorative embroidery. No previous sewing experience is required, but folks should be ready to do quite a bit of hand sewing.
