Learn how to use the heavy-duty hardware setting equipment Ace Makerspace has in Textiles. This equipment is simple to use but also easy to get wrong. This certification workshop includes hands-on practice, not just theory!

  • Timing: 1.5 hours
  • Location: Coworking/Textiles suite 206
  • Certification: BuckleGuy Hardware Certification
  • Age: 14+

Students will learn:

  • Overview of tools and hardware types
  • How to use specialty dies
  • How to choose hardware for different projects
  • Tips to keep everything in working order
  • How to set snaps, rivets, and grommets in fabric and leather
  • All materials and hardware provided!
  • Requires three students to run.

Class Scholarship Available

Refunds, Transfers, or Credits are only offered if the class is canceled. We do not offer credits, transfers, or refunds for student cancelations. You can offer your seat for sale to others (use the comments). You are solely responsible for those transactions & letting us know who is taking your spot.

Late Arrival Policy

Arriving on time to class is very important.

For certification classes we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the start time you will be unable to attend that day and your class fee is forfeit. For non-certification classes, your ability to participate will be based on instructor discretion.
