What the heck is that tool and how does it work? In this beginner class you’ll learn about a variety of smaller hand-held tools commonly used in woodworking through a series of demonstrations. Is there a tool you’re curious about? Bring your questions. This is not a hands on class nor does it provide any tool certifications.

Tool Demonstrations:
What to bring: A notebook or well-charged phone for taking notes.
What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, short sleeves, and work clothes. Long hair must be tied back.
Safety Gear: Eye protection, and ear protection, and all the hand sanitizer will be provided. If you are fussy, bring your own.
Class Scholarship Available:
Scholarships are only available after 6 spots have been filled. The scholarship for this class is funded primarily by a small amount added to other student fees. If you need a scholarship for this class, please submit this request form. You may be notified as little as 24 hours before the event, depending on event sales.
This class requires a minimum of 6 students per session. If the class is canceled, we can offer a refund but otherwise, do not.

Refunds, Transfers, or Credits are only offered if the class is canceled. We do not offer credits, transfers, or refunds for student cancelations. You can offer your seat for sale to others (use the comments). You are solely responsible for those transactions & letting us know who is taking your spot.
Arriving on time to class is very important.
For certification classes we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the start time you will be unable to attend that day and your class fee is forfeit. For non-certification classes, your ability to participate will be based on instructor discretion.
