Cozy Things Sewing Workshop

Learn to use basic sewing patterns and make a cozy hooded scarf, regular scarf, or beanie from cuddly polar fleece! Up the cute factor with ears; laser-cut embellishments like noses, whiskers, and toe-beans; and other decorative finishes like fringe or serged lettuce hems. This class is great for beginners with light sewing machine experience!

Level: Beginner with Light Experience (perfect for folks who’ve taken 101 Bootcamp or Learn to Sew)

In this class, we will cover all the basics, such as:
- Working with patterns
- Working with fleece
- Using different types of stitches
All the fabric and supplies are provided. We will be using the Ace Janome sewing machines, so no need to bring your own.
Class Scholarship Available
We have a limited set of scholarships available for this class, funded in part by the other student fees. If you need a scholarship for this class, please submit this request form 24 hours before the event.
This class requires a minimum of 3 students per session. If the class is canceled we can offer a refund but otherwise do not refund.

Refunds, Transfers, or Credits are only offered if the class is canceled. We do not offer credits, transfers, or refunds for student cancelations. You can offer your seat for sale to others (use the comments). You are solely responsible for those transactions & letting us know who is taking your spot.
Late Arrival Policy
Arriving on time to class is very important.
For certification classes we are unable to accommodate late arrivals. If you arrive more than 10 minutes past the start time you will be unable to attend that day and your class fee is forfeit. For non-certification classes, your ability to participate will be based on instructor discretion.
